"Friends Of Janice
Brown" Fundraiser Raises over $20,000.00 for Janice's Children |

On April 26, 1999 Caron & Partners
hosted a fundraiser for the children of Janice Brown, a colleague whose life
ended tragically in December of 1998, a victim of domestic violence. |
More than 300
supporters of the fund gathered at The Deerfoot Bowling Depot for an
evening of bowling and a silent auction to raise money for this cause.
When all of the receipts were
tallied, including the proceeds from the silent auction, personal
donations, ticket sales, and deposits made as a result of media coverage,
this event generated over $20,000.00 All proceeds went
directly to the children's trust fund. |
